Sick and Tired

The story of Fannie Lou Hamer
Written and performed by Diane L. Parker

Famous for her statement that she was "sick and tired of being sick and tired" this show takes the audience to a church in Mississippi as this icon of the movement describes her interactions with the KKK and her ongoing fight for voting rights in her community and later the country.

Sick and Tired won the 2017 Strawberry One-Act Festival in New York City, clinching both the Best Play and Best Actress awards.

The performance can be personalized for your group - with a 10-minute version to a full hour with an accompanying "Praise and Worship" service and singer(s).  We would be happy to work with your group to create a meaningful and inspiring theatrical experience.  Click below for more information on the show.  If you are interested in booking, please contact us at [email protected] for schedules and rates.
